Purpose: The purpose of #BetterTogether: A Rare Care Coalition is to foster supportive relationships in the rare condition community.

 

Our motto: The world says we can make it on our own, but we believe we are better together!

Our Guiding Principles:  We have four guiding principles, Relationships, Resources, Respect, and Resilience.

 

Our Commitment to Each Other: By participating in this coalition I agree to the following:

1. Develop meaningful intentional relationships.

   1. Call a member on the phone

   2. Send encouraging emails/messages/letters

   3. Talk to a member at least once a month

2. Share resources.

   1. Sharing links via email, facebook, twitter will help spread awareness about rare conditions. Use the hashtag #BetterTogether. 

3. Respect everyone.

   1. There will be times we don’t agree with each other, but respect the diverse backgrounds in our coalition.

4. Be resilient in our efforts to work together.

   1. There will be forces that make our work difficult, but we will push through by working together.

 

Our logo: Our logo is a sun compass. The sun represents the light we spread out into the world and the compass encompasses the diversity of our coalition.

 

Sponsorship: FACES: The National Craniofacial Association is the official sponsor of this coalition, but will not receive any funds from any participating individual or organization.

 

Membership Fees: There are no membership fees associated with this coalition.
