Hello FACES Community, We wanted to share the below opportunity with all of you. We know the founder of Some 1 Like You, and she was kind enough to share these resources and offer free memberships to her great organization to help you or your child make some private connections with others nationwide. Some 1 Like You (S1LY) is a Colorado based organization that connects individuals privately nationwide based on the specific health conditions they have and are looking for in someone else. The inspiration for this organization came from 6 year old Lily who has a rare disease and a big desire to find a friend like her. Lily's parents were not comfortable posting the private details of Lily's symptoms and conditions on facebook or message boards online to find someone who was experiencing the same. So, they created another option for others who would also like to find someone like them (or their child) without compromising their privacy in the process.
